What will happen at my first visit?

Before meeting with a licensed professional, the client will meet with an Access Specialist to see if they are eligible for a full assessment by answering questions regarding mental health and substance abuse.

  • If you are eligible for assessment, the Access Specialist will collect demographic information and review required paperwork (consent, financial contract, human rights, fall risk, confidentiality, DMAS, no show policy).
  • Client may sign releases for other entities outside of BRBH to have access to their medical information here.

What do I bring to my first visit?

We accept Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance as well as offer a financial assistance payment plan. After payment by the insurance company, the remaining balance becomes the client’s responsibility and the client may fill out a financial assistance application at that time.

  • You can pay in-person at BRBH (Burrell Center, Child & Family Services, Administrative Office).
