The Access Center provides centralized assessment and intake for adults and children at the Burrell Center. Screening and clinical assessments to determine service needs are done on a walk-in basis to provide same day access to service initiation.

Adults and children may access screening for services without an appointment by coming to the Burrell Center between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.  There are extended walk-in hours for children’s intakes on Tuesdays until 4:30 PM.  The children’s entrance to the Access Center is on the left side of the main Burrell Center building, highlighted by a Children’s Access Center sign. The adult entrance remains through the main Burrell doors in the center of the building.

Based on the outcome of the screening/assessment, referrals are made to the appropriate level and intensity of treatment, either from BRBH or other community providers.  Call 540-343-3007 for more information.
